On Wednesday I'm doing an emergency lunchtime piano recital in Coventry, at Draper's Hall. It doesn't mention me on the tickets page, because it was only arranged today that I'd be the replacement. I'm going to play:
Bach/Busoni- Nunn Komm, der Heiden Heiland (Chorale prelude)
Schubert- Impromptu in A flat op 142 no 2
Rachmaninoff- Preludes in F sharp minor, D major and B minor (op 23 nos 1 and 4, op 32 no 10)
Purcell/Villani Dido's Lament from Dido and Aeneas)
Puccini/Mikhashoff Portrait of Madame Butterfly
