New Album 'Paper Parachute' Out Now /// Companion Songs is an experimental folk-rock duo from Cologne by guitarist Marco Mlynek with Max Andrzejewski on drums. The duo was founded in 2020, their friendship goes way back to their teenage days though. Their music is an ongoing collection of stripped back instrumentals and songs, with simple melodies and repetition at their heart. Honest music, infused with energetic outbursts, light-footedly moving between stubborn singalongs and states of deep rest. Their debut EP was released in 2021 on Akkerbouw Records (Berlin), their first album 'Paper Parachute' released May 12 2023.
