Over the past few days I've seen very strange activity on the Discord server. There have been many new accounts joining with names that appear random and often times matching a common pattern (such as 5 people all joining at once with names consisting of random letters followed by random numbers). Out of an abundance of caution, I've revoked the Discord server invite link for now. If you're a legit viewer wanting to participate in the community, I'm sorry.

Good news! My employer has given me clearance to resume making educational videos for YouTube on basic programming topics! I have a couple different series of videos in mind, and I'm already deep into planning the first of these: "Introduction to Rust" I learned Rust a year ago, and I can't get enough of it.
In the mean time, I'll be rearranging and updating things on the YouTube channel. Since I'm no longer working on my game, I'll be moving that playlist down the page. Instead, I'll be featuring more prominently the kind of content that I'll be focusing on going forward, which is to help teach people various programming tools and techniques.
I'll also be recording a new channel introduction video, coming soon.

Hello friends, I have some disappointing news to share with you. My new employer has determined that Omnia Regna, as well as me live coding on Twitch, participating in Open Source, and building supportive communities for developers from around the world, are all considered conflicts of interest. There is a process in place to get approval anyway, but the chances of getting approval are slim to none. Nonetheless I plan to continue the process. If that actually succeeds, I will have a glorious return to the Twitch channel!
In the mean time, I've shut my game down, and removed the invite link to my Discord server. Since I can no longer stream the content for which I joined the Twitch Affiliate program, I've sent Twitch a written request to terminate my Affiliate Agreement, effective immediately. It would be unfair and unethical of me to continue receiving bits or subscription revenue on the platform when I can no longer earn it in any way.
My GitHub repos will be frozen in place, still available, although I can no longer push any commits to them.
On the bright side, the company seems receptive to my YouTube channel and the educational content I've produced there. I can keep all the videos up there, and I may be able to get approval to publish more in the future. We'll see!
I want to thank you all for everything you've done for me and each other. You're wonderful and special. I've learned so much from you, and I hope I've taught you a few things in return. I still plan to hang out in other channels and communities; even if I can't talk about coding, I can at least attempt to meme and share bad jokes! ;)

This channel features all the videos I've made to help teach others basic programming tools and techniques.
I also keep an archive here of most of my past Twitch stream broadcasts (twitch.tv/rhymu). This includes Advent of Code live streams and several hundred streams over a few years where I worked on making my own game and writing my own libraries for web server and client components.
I've also played a few games live on Twitch that some folks might like to see again.
