Welcome to Trucking Topics Today, a place for me to impart my knowledge and wisdom in hopes that it may help others succeed and grow.
After working for southern pacific railroad, first starting out in the office and then working my way up to locomotive engineer… I got bored and decided to do the one thing that I have wanted to do since I was a child; and that one thing is truck driving.
During the winter of 2004, I started truck driving school in Cedar city, Utah. By February 2005, I was sitting in the seat as a student with covenant. Since then, I have worked with several trucking companies, both large and small, local and over the road. I have driven dry vans, refers, tanks, with some of that experience being double trailers.
In the fall of 2017, I started the process to become an owner operator at Landstar. After a bit of time at Landstar, I took a big step and got my own authority.
So subscribe, and come along for the ride!
