Sandeep Narayan is a renowned musician of the South Indian style known as Carnatic Music. Though he was born in Los Angeles, California, Sandeep went against the norms and moved from America to India in 2006, to pursue his dream of being a musician full-time. His reverse migration was a first of its kind for an aspiring artist in Carnatic Music. Known for his melodious voice, intricate elaborations, and emotive renditions of compositions, Sandeep strives to serve as a cultural ambassador between traditional Indian music and audiences worldwide.
In 2019, the Government of India’s Sangeet Natak Akademi awarded Sandeep with the prestigious title, “Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar.”
Sandeep loves connecting with audiences worldwide, and regularly performs live concert tours across India, North America, Europe, Australia, and the Middle East. He is also a music educator and has trained many students around the world in the art of Carnatic music.
