Blind Kittens - Rhys B. MacKitten was rescued by Fostering Felines, Ohio; Avalon was taken in by Fayette Regional Humane Society, Ohio. Both had severe upper respiratory infections, which destroyed their eyeballs, requiring them to be removed, with their eyelids permanently shut.
I was blessed to adopt them. They are not my first blind animals. This channel is a video diary of Rhys & Avalon’s lives as sightless kittens navigating this world in darkness, yet spreading their joy & love for life. Viewers will see how I enrich their lives with audible toys, various activities, and lots of snuggles & love. You will learn how blind kittens can adapt and how they can inspire humans.
I have been an animal rescuer, to include helping with Best Friends Animal Society rescuing pets after Hurricane Katrina, plus more. I was a wildlife rehabber for years, prior to serious life changing injuries. I work, but in between all that, I write, with the hopes of being published.
