Chen Mingchang 1956.
Native of Beitou, Taiwan
He is a Taiwanese songwriter, composer, music producer, guitarist, and yueqin player.

He’s been writing songs for 30 years and has released more than 20 albums and more than 100 songs.
When Chen Mingchang was in his twenties, he began to think about what creativity rooted in the land really meant and decided to give up Western musical thinking and explore Taiwanese music. He incorporated its song structures and chord forms into modern music.
