We are NintendoCore Duo, a two-piece instrumental project from Travnik, Bosnia and Herzegovina, founded in 2013. The idea for the project was born out of our mutual interest for music and video games and our goal is to relive our childhood memories and make some amazing music in the process. Have you ever wondered how 8-bit and 16-bit music would sound if arranged and played with live instruments? We make this a reality by reimagining these sounds with guitars, drums and keyboards. Our arrangements breathe new life into these memorable tunes which we fondly remember. We make sure that these tunes keep their original feel but we also add new ideas which explore new paths these tunes can take as we use our rock and metal influences. We have started as a studio project posting songs on YouTube. Since February 2017 we have turned this project into a live band. In our live performances we strive to rekindle the audience’s childhood memories.
