Ryan Vinson is an amateur wine lover who likes to try unique wines from all over the world. He has been a software engineer for over 25 years and an independent consultant for over 20 years.
During his travels, both domestic and international, he likes to discover locally made wines and found that he would much rather bring home a bottle of locally made wine than a plastic souvenir or T-shirt probably not even made in that location. This was a way for him to bring home some of the culture he was visiting.
He started Son of Vin as a way to share what he learns about the unique wines he tries from all over the world.
