Matthew A. Carrillo is an advocate for the local metal scene in Kentucky and Indiana. He created and manages the Local Metal Band Database, promotes and books local bands through Dreamhouse Entertainment and Development, writes reviews through Blind Ear Music Review, hosts a monthly Sunday showcase called the Heroes of the Underworld, and conducts interviews with local bands through the Liner Notes Podcast. In addition, he performs as a frontman for local Louisville band, Enemy to All.
