Our personal experience with chickens has led us to believe that all chickens, even roosters, are capable of so much more than most people know. Our goal is to share with the world the amazing potential these creatures have, both intellectually and emotionally. If given the opportunity, and shown some patience, any chicken, even a rooster, can be a great pet and loving companion.
Since roosters get the worst of the assumptions, and since ours have proven to be even more bonded and affectionate than the hens, we have made it our focus to advocate for better treatment and consideration for them.
They deserve to have the opportunity to live a full life and to feel safe, comfortable, and loved.
