happy belated new year everyone! thank you all for the support this last year, hoping to make season 3 even better
that being said, there's a few things we'll be doing before the season officially starts on February 23rd:
Sometime in January (hopefully) - 2 albums of rips from the past 2 years, one for Season 1 and one for Season 2
January 26th - Small event for KingSammelot's birthday, nothing too crazy like last time though
February 1st - Another Stay Inside Me medley rip
and a reminder that we're still accepting submissions for International Day of Happiness (March 20th), NONG Day (April 30th) and NCS Day (June 1st)
we've also got plans for April Fools this year but you'll just have to wait for that

first things first, my GOD that's a lot of sources, over 200 to be exact! this might be one of the most packed rips ever made! that being said there's no way I'm getting this out by the end of the year, I set that goal thinking there would be like 50 at most
don't worry, I'll let you all know when it's coming. in fact I'll announce the title now so you know what it is when I premiere it in 6 billion trillion years:

second, a lot of you seem to have misunderstood the post which is perfectly fine I probably could've worded it better.
I didn't mean I would make several rips using your ideas, I meant one giant rip using every single source you comment
so if you had a specific combination in mind don't expect that to be fulfilled but at the very least both or all of the songs you suggested will be included
finally I did get a couple outside sources from the post which will make it kinda hard to credit the comments (which is something I plan to do either in a pastebin or google sheet or in the video itself)
I got 4 songs from big sammelot, one from yikes and a couple from samme's chat
and you'll never know hahahaahahah!! nah they will be credited in text form absolutely
anyways hope this clears some things up for you all, thanks for the support on that post and in general (seriously it's insane how far we've come this year)

Hello everyone! We would like to announce a few events coming to the channel next year.
*International Day of Happiness*
This event, being held on *March 20th*, will allow:
- Songs about being happy
- Songs/games with "happy" or "smile" in the title

*Not on Newgrounds Day*
Paralleling SiIvaGunner's Newgrounds Day, on *April 30th* we will be holding an event dedicated to famous NONG songs in Geometry Dash. These could be songs on Newgrounds but not allowed for use in the game, songs once on Newgrounds but were removed, or songs that were never on Newgrounds to begin with!
The GD Song File Hub is a great resource for finding NONGs to rip. It's recommended that you only rip songs that have been used in rated levels, however if a level uses a NONG and is popular enough it may still be allowed.
*NCS Day*
On *June 1st*, the 1 year anniversary of NCS songs being added to GD's audio library, we will be holding an event celebrating the history of the label.
All songs released on NCS are allowed, so there's plenty to work with!
As always, if you would like to submit rips for these events, or in general, join the Discord server linked on the channel, as there will be channels for submissions for these events. Have fun!
