I wish you all a good start to the new year 2025! This year, too, I'm looking forward to presenting you with lots of great new music videos, perhaps with a few general innovations. Let yourself be surprised :)

Good health and success to you all in the new year!

The new piece "Fortune Teller Wagon" is also inspired by our loyal listeners zombiewerewolf9189 and MellyWilliams. And since Halloween is not far away, I thought a funny and quirky piece about a fortune teller's car would fit quite well :)

Thanks to our loyal listeners zombiewerewolf9189 and MellyWilliams for the inspiring idea to compose music about a spooky toy store. "Creepy Toy Store" is finally a new video after almost three weeks of absence :)

Dear and loyal Terra listeners!

As you've probably already noticed, I haven't uploaded a new track for more than two weeks. Unfortunately, I'm currently a bit stressed and worried, both privately and professionally, which don't give me the chance to compose in peace. But I'll try my best to upload a new original Terra Fantasy track for you very soon.

Until then, feel free to write me your ideas and wishes for a new track, because I could really use some creative input ;)

A beautiful picture of an underwater restaurant on Pinterest inspired me to compose the new piece "Underwater Restaurant". When I think of underwater, I think of the underwater levels of the old Donkey Kong Country games, the steampunk cities in BioShock, the Forgotten World in Final Fantasy VII (where Aerith died) and Ecco the Dolphin as a kind of memory fusion.

The new track "Castle Knights" is part of a new upcoming album containing 15 tracks for table top games like Dungeons and Dragons. This track is a little preview of the album. More sample tracks will follow in the next weeks until the album is finished.

Now that I finally have a new acoustic piano and two identical microphones, I thought I'd record a little video for you where I improvise to Creepy Music Box. It contains the original melody, of course, and a few little embellishments and extras.
Sometimes I forgot a chord or part of the melody - that happens when improvising ;)
Enjoy watching and listening!

"Settlement on the Great Tree" is inspired from Final Fantasy IX. In this part of the game series there is a place called Cleyra, a small village located in the crown of a huge tree and protected by an impenetrable cyclone. By the way, a highly recommended part of the series! A remake of the game is planned for the future.

Castle in the Night
It was time again for a darker piece. I was inspired by a great picture on Pinterest that showed a castle in the moonlight. When I looked at the picture I could already hear the organ and the harpsichord in my head and so I went straight to the keys and production in Cubase ;)

Sometimes when I don't have a good idea, I love to set constraints or my own rules before composing to help me find the melody and harmony. I am often surprised by the result and would never have come to such a result under normal circumstances. The rather unusual 5/8 time signature was also one of these decisions.
