Before and after photos of the G.I Joe tape prior to and after cleaning, respectively! I was finally able to pick it up today!
On a side note, I can’t see or think of the name Sigma without thinking of the brainrot term.

Still waiting for a HQ quality version of this rare gem to show up.
We only have less than stellar quality audio versions so far. One has excessive buzzing and the other is in mono.
I also wonder if any Paramount DVD-Only demo tapes from 2008 or 2009 contained this logo (the regular long version or the short version.). Some of the shows that used this logo were owned by Paramount themselves.
It would be pretty wild to see the CBS Television Distribution logo on a VHS! But I think there’s a chance it was!
I don’t think this extended long version was used on ANY home media releases. Only on TV on select episodes of The Montel Williams Show (other episodes of that show just used the normal standard long version), and that one Dr. Phil episode.
I also don’t think any 2007 tapes (or retail DVDs for that matter) used this logo, as that was the very first year this logo was used on TV.

Speaking of The Sum of All Fears, this is also on my want list and I forgot to put it. I may have mentioned it already but I can’t remember, so forgive me if I’m repeating myself. I have a tendency to do that sometimes because my short term memory is horrible.
Once I get this copy, I will have all 3 USA VHS copies of it, and I also have the DVD!

I made better quality rips of The Sum of All Fears retail and Columbia House VHS copies. I will probably redo them again once I get my Dazzle, but in the meantime these rips are still much better than the horrible quality ones I had before:

Surprisingly enough, the CHC copy is actually copy protected, and most CHC tapes aren’t. I tried to dub it to a DVD and it unfortunately wouldn’t let me. Same thing with my CHC copy of Blue’s Big Musical Movie. That one is also copy protected.

As of today, my Mom and Stepdad have officially moved out of Michigan and into Florida.
I initially said my parents, but I should probably clarify it’s not my Dad and Stepmom in Oregon.
Like I said in an earlier comment if you saw it, I can’t say where in Florida they moved to, just that they moved there.
I’m sticking around in Michigan for at least a few more years before possibly moving somewhere warmer. I definitely want to eventually. I hate Michigan Winters.
I am going to visit my parents over my spring break too in Florida.
Also, the G.I. Joe tape had to stay at the Muskegon place overnight to get cleaned. I should get a call today letting me know when I can pick it up then I will pick it up and post before and after photos. I already have the before photo taken.

@FabiansMediaCorner2001 Headed to Muskegon to get this tape cleaned now. That’s just step one though. It’s gonna take a little while longer before I can get it digitized.
I was going to wait until I could digitize it to get cleaned, but I just heard recently you should actually get your moldy tapes cleaned as soon as possible, so I’m going to do it now.
Once all of that is done, I will ship the tape to you.

Another thing on my want list I forgot to add in my Groundhog Day updated want list video.
I want to find both the promotional and the retail copies of this tape.
They are both pretty hard to find, but the promotional tape is easiest to find out of those 2 copies.
So far, in terms of Cyberchase physical media, I only have the Totally Rad VHS. I found the Codename Icky VHS once at a Salvation Army in Grand Rapids, MI, but I didn’t think to pick it up for some reason. I may have been low on funds or something. I can’t remember.
That exact Salvation Army stopped carrying tapes not too long ago unfortunately.

I am going to get a Black Dazzle capture card when I get a chance to do some more rips in even better quality than either my Roxio or Elgato. So no more rips until I get that card. I will make sure to get one with a blue light because those are the best ones.
My first rip with the new card is going to be the 2006 DVD-Only screener VHS of G.I. Joe Sigma 6: First Strike that I just acquired, which I will make public.
It appears to have a tiny bit of mold on it so I need to take it to Static Tape in the Lakes Mall in Muskegon, Michigan when I get a chance to get it cleaned just like I did with my Naked Brothers Band tape.
I didn’t include it in the latest update or screener VHS collection since it’s going to Fabian once I get it cleaned and digitized. I got the tape for the sole purpose of digitizing it since I’m not a fan of G.I. Joe as I mentioned before. I also have my DVD recorder TBC now if I didn’t mention that already to try to help combat dropped frames and screen jittering.
I also have to wait until I get back into my apartment to do more rips.

This is currently floating around on eBay. An electronic press kit screener VHS of The Dark Knight on eBay from 2008! Unfortunately it’s WAY too expensive for me.
