Office Technology is a department within Coleg Cambria that teach students a variety of office based administration skills. These included using a range of Microsoft Office applications, Text Processing skills, CLAIT and ECDL (European Computer Driving License). On the course students are also taught several core skills such as how to answer the telephone, correct filing, handing mail, understanding petty cash books, manual and electronic diary systems, and also giving good quality customer service. Combined, all these elements are fundamental skills that enable the students to be pre-trained and ready for when they start administration work.
