Running for a decade, Book Slam remains London's best literary event and something of a cultural institution. It features storytelling in all its forms – prose, poetry, comedy and songwriting, typically inviting underground talent to share a stage with household names.
Over the years, most of the UK's finest writers have graced the Book Slam stage (Nick Hornby, Howard Jacobson, Zadie Smith, Irvine Welsh ...) and it's a great place to spot up and coming musical talent (Plan B, Kate Nash, Sam Smith and Adele all played early gigs there).
This channel gives you scrummy little tasters of some of our most beloved Book Slammers. So if you don't fancy leaving the house today why not let the literature land straight in your lap?
