Status: Joy and relief

Description:
It was confirmed that Dogday, the leader of the Smiling Critters, was still alive and was rescued just before death by the Mini Smiling Critters.

Although Dogday's lower body had been severed by Catnap, the research team successfully reattached and reconstructed it.

Progress:
As the leader, Dogday had a strong attachment to the other members and suffered from severe trauma, blaming himself for the terrible things that had happened to his companions.
However, upon seeing the other Smiling Critters who had been successfully reconstructed by the research team, Dogday broke down in tears like a child.
Crafticon captured this moment in a sketch, but the exclusive use of red paint made the result difficult to discern.

Report:
Miss Delight is unrestricted in her movement but exhibits a peculiar sadistic tendency during hunts with her victims. She enjoys a game where she remains motionless when observed by the victim and moves when out of their sight. Assistant Researcher Red successfully exploited this behavior by having Miss Delight closely watched, then using the β€˜Eyes’ from DOORS to inflict a critical blow. In the confusion that followed, Miss Delight was successfully reconstituted.

Progress:
Immediately after reconstitution, she showed no particular emotional response. However, upon entering the lab and seeing the Smiling Critters noisily playing around, she exhibited a severe aversion and attempted to escape. This aversion seems to stem not from the Smiling Critters themselves but from their uncontrolled behavior, reminds children playing recklessly around the lab. The reconstitution experiment on Bobby Bearhug from Smiling Critters has been completed.

Two hypotheses have been raised about Bobby Bearhug's whereabouts: the first is that she was killed by her fellow Critter, Crafticorn, and used as paint, and the second is that she ran away and is hiding somewhere.

In the parallel world the team entered, Bobby Bearhug's genes were detected in the paint in the Crafticorns possession, so the paint was confiscated from the Crafticorn and the genetic tissue was extracted and forcibly reconstructed to bring Bobby Bearhug back to life.

The reconstituted Bobby Bearhug is aware that the Crafticorn killed her, but hasn't shown much hostility towards her since she used one German Splash and one Flying Elbow Drop each.

The restoration experiment on 'Hoppy Hopscotch' from the 'Smiling Critters' series has been completed. Hoppy Hopscotch was killed by Catnap, but the team was able to recover her remains and successfully restore her. Hoppy Hopscotch is likely to be useful in tracking down the whereabouts of the other Critters and Catnap. Mommylonglegs may have slaughtered many people with her endless stretchy plastic arms and legs,
but it also seems to have used those arms to comfort and hug many orphans in Playcare.

The researchers showed Mommylonglegs photos of her lovingly caring for the children shortly after her transformation.

This was ostensibly to calm Mommylonglegs down, but in reality, the intention was to create an emotional stir in her normally violent behavior to see how she would react.
