Just curious.
Would you rather
A. All video games developed going forward have worse graphics. Probably about Xbox 360 quality visuals, BUT as a result of this the price of games drops to about $40 per AAA game.
Or
B. Games stay the same and graphics keep improving. But microtransactions keep getting more and more annoying, and $70 $90 stays the normal price range for AAA games. (Assuming the gameplay is still fine, fun, and unaffected.)
Iām curious what others think.

About the xender video.
I wanna address some comments Iāve been getting.
Firstly I know his new video sheds new light on the situation and makes it clear that in some cases, it wasnāt outright plagiarism, he more took inspiration without crediting than plagiarized.
However a ton of the cases were still direct plagiarism.
He traced art and didnāt credit it.
Thatās the long and short of it.
As for the people saying I donāt know the situation well.
I have ONLY seen xenderās videos.
I have not looked at any of the twitter stuff and I have no idea what others have been saying.
All I know is what xender himself has said.
If you think thatās not enough then fair enough ig but that seemed like enough to me.
Itās odd that Iām suddenly getting such negative attention as, when the video released it was initially positive.
I feel lots of people are thinking with their emotions and not their heads.
Xenders levels are important to the community and to lots of people, so itās hard to believe he did something wrong.
But believe me. You can still like the levels. And personally, I do too.
All I did was give my opinion.
Trust me if I wanted attention this would not be the video I would have made.
I donāt make things just to get attention. Every video I make comes from a genuine passion for GD and its community.
I would NEVER just shit on someone for views and I would NEVER put someone down like that.
If I make a video. Itās because I care about the thing the video is about.
If you disagree with the video thatās 100% ok.
Even I donāt know if Iāll forgive him Iām on the fence but genuinely his new video crediting everything he stole is a step in the right direction.
I think I canāt forgive what he did. But I can move on from it.
I still like and respect xender game.
And genuinely I hope we can move on from this.
As much as I wonāt fully forgive him. I will be able to move on and respect him.

Heavy vent post but I just wanna be transparent about where Iām at right now.
Lately my own mental health has been catching up to me and itās affecting some of my content.
I donāt trust anyone ever, and I hate myself for it.
I have severe trust issues.
I donāt wanna make friends or meet people.
Unlike normal trust issues people have. Mine have been hard validated to the point where I just donāt know how to get myself out of them.
Ok so basically the reason I havenāt made a discord server or anything like that is I have this irrational fear that everyone will just be toxic and unsafe and it will just be raided and nuked.
Itās so bad that Iām wondering if my fear stems from undiagnosed PTSD I might have because of the internet.
Iāve seen shit. Bad shit. Happen on discord.
Lately to help ābeatā GD I wanted to make a video offering to let people decorate my layout to get it rated.
Problem is, I donāt even wanna make a collab server because I DONāT TRUST PEOPLE.
And there is NO reason for this.
ALL of this sucks because most people are good people.
But I just canāt bring myself to talk to people.
Iām such an antisocial anxious ball that I canāt even host a collab.
I plan to talk to a therapist about this but I feel the need to say something publicly as it really has affected the way I interact with my viewers.
If I have ever acted weird in response to you DMing me for the first time btw. This is why. I assumed you wanted to harass me.

(This was supposed to be an announcement but ended up turning into a extremely angry rant, so TLDR for people who dont wanna read that, I'm beating every single Easy Demon, but I am ONLY doing classics, because platformer doesn't interest me anymore do to the insane amount of game remakes, and also because a lot of them are Terraria and I REALLY do not like Terraria.)
Being totally honest my interest in platformer is completely dead. I don't see myself beating many platformer demons anymore.
I'm just sick of all the fucking terraria remakes.
Firstly these annoy me because I hate terraria. the game sucks ass. genuinely its one of the worst fucking things I have ever played.
Secondly, even if I fucking LIKED terraria. I WOULD PLAY TERARRIA. I DONT BOOT UP GD TO PLAY TERARRIA I BOOT UP GD TO PLAY GD.
