[ENG] We finally know that songs from the movie „Wicked” are gonna be dubbed into Polish!
We also know the cast:
Elphaba: Katarzyna Dąbrowska & Karolina Trębacz (singing)
Katarzyna was also Sisu, from „Raya and the last Dragon”
Karolina is voice of Tiana, from „Princess and the Frog”
Glinda: Agata Różycka & Edyta Krzemień!!! (singing)
Edyta voiced Snow White in 2009 re-dub
And Katarzyna Łaska is gonna be in choir in the song „Znieść Grawitację” - Defying Gravity!
„Defying Gravity” is translated into „Znieść Grawitację” / „Blow the gravity out” - or something like - „Abolish the gravity” (we have to wait for the full text to better interpret this title because it’s like a duble-meaning)
I think in the stage version there’s gonna be different translation, anyway… I’m so excited
