Since the year is coming to an end, here are some 'resolutions' I've made for this channel, so that you know what to expect of the channel in 2025!
- QUALITY OVER QUANTITY - As you all might know, recently I gave up the low effort, meme-y videos in attempt to turn YLY into a more consistent 'show'. BUT if you still want those... I will be posting some on YourLocalYouTuber NOW, which you can check out on my channels tab. But, overall, I'm aiming for YLY videos to be well edited, well made and genuinely funny. So expect less frequent uploads, but a higher video duration and more quality editing.
- STREAM MORE - I've started doing a lot of streaming recently, and I have a ton of fun doing them even if they do require a lot more preparation than videos... so I'm hoping to do a lot more of those to tide people over whilst I work on videos. I've also hired an editor to turn some of my streams into full, well-edited VODS that will go onto my channel! (Don't worry, the main videos will still be personally cooked by yours truly)
- MAKE MORE MERCH - I know that my current items on my merch stole all contain items that were drawn in MS paint and don't exactly look the greatest (I still love that beanie though), and want to improve. So, I'm working with some very talented artists (including @rspaced and @talonsandtails501) to create some truly good looking designs that you won't feel like you just wasted you money on.
- TAKE MY TIME - Before I started doing the quality over quantity rule, I was actually super stressed out, I was constantly worrying about my channel, and it was practically consuming my life. I couldn't even enjoy my break in Italy due to me stressing about my channel, so, I've decided this year to focus more on my proper, precious little real-world life after nearly two years of straight focus on my channel.
