Art summary for the year!!! I think July was my biggest month of improvement bc of that drawing challenge, it really helped to push me :D

Finished reading the Ave mujica intermissions….THEY’RE SO DEPRESSING WHAT. Bro I thought they would be but oh my lord 😭
But I’m gonna do what I always do & yap about Mutsumi ❤️
What I got from most of this was that Mutsumi feels like she’s never heard properly & that ppl keep mistreating her (which is very true) she wants to have friendships with real meaning & connection & be understood
Due to these issues, she feels like life is pointless & is essentially the same as “slowly dying” as she puts it
She isn’t afraid of death, the thought of dying doesn’t scare her she thinks it’ll finally be quiet
This idea of death being quiet & there being no “voices” is something that is repeated throughout her lines (ones that I didn’t show here as well)
Last thing to say is that during the dream section where it’s what the dolls yearns for, her features her playing with dolls that compliment her
This to me seems like she wants friends who understand her & compliment her back, she loves her friends & they love her back which makes living worthwhile
