grace note
noun Music.
a note not essential to the harmony or melody, added as an embellishment, esp. an appoggiatura.
We are gracenotes.
We separate ourselves from the rest of the world as Christians. People may call us insignificant or unnecessary because that's what we are. The only thing that gives us any worth is that the Great Composer has chosen to put us in this world. Not just as a normal human beings, but as His spiritual children. Therefore we sing our part in the song of His glory; not because He needs us, but because of what He did on the cross. We sing for Him and for you, that He might shed some grace on the note you are called to sing.
