SNJÜ is the rousing new solo project coming to us from Canadian singer-songwriter, Sanjay Seran. This is not the party music we are used to hearing from the Delhi 2 Dublin frontman. Instead, this intimate collection from Vancouver’s “Vibes Darling” reveals SNJÜ turning drastically inwards - mining harsher elements from his psyche to craft seductive accounts of passion-gone-good and passion-gone-badass. He’s not holding back. At times achingly tender, other times unapologetically dismissive, yet always resonating with SNJÜ’s easy confidence, his music is a sensual treat for those newly discovering his sound, as well as long-time fans who are up for a more carnal encounter.
