People often think that their "need" for sleep will always be the exact same.

But there are many things that you can do (or not do) that can make a significant difference in how efficiently your body sleeps.

Optimize your circadian rhythm, diet, and mindfulness.

These are the biggest drivers that will have an effect on how well you sleep.

Most people have never felt truly energized.

They get constantly pulled around by their addictions or lack of discipline.

True energy is stable and peaceful but can also be easily channeled when needed.

It's more about the things you don't do that can make a significant difference.

Telling yourself that you're "on" a certain diet can often backfire.

What happens if you slip up? You've just reinforced the story that you can't stick to it and that it's not for you.

I see people do this a lot with the carnivore diet. They slip up, eat some junk food or something that they weren't supposed to, and now they think they can't do it or "it's just not for me".

But who cares? Just start again. Literally the next meal, just start eating only meat again.

This is why I don't like saying you're "on a diet" because if you slip up, you are essentially "off the diet".

"Now that I'm off the diet, I might as well wait for the perfect time to start again."

But there is almost never a perfect time.

This is why I say, just prioritize foods that are optimal for human digestion & metabolism.

That way you're never "on" or "off" a particular diet, you just live as, and identify as someone that wants to feel their best and fuel their body properly.

This is how you "do it long term". Rarely are their people that NEVER eat anything other than what's optimal.

They are consistently great, not consistently perfect.

You don't optimize your body, you optimize your lifestyle.

Changing your life is simple. Although it is simple, for many people it is hard.

Often times we know what we should be doing, but for some reason, we just don't do it.

If we could all just "do it", we'd all have 6-packs, peace of mind, our dream relationship, & unlimited energy to do the things we love.

So don't overthink it, just do it. (Not sponsored by Nike)

Creatine is the most researched supplement on the planet. It allows you to build muscle easier and increases brain performance. There seems to almost no downsides. It's also interesting that that recommended daily intake of 3-5g per day, is the exact amount found in a couple of pounds of red meat... Does this point towards the optimal diet for humans?

Ask a random person with limited knowledge of nutrition whether they think corn starch and sugar are good for the heart, they would likely say no. And they'd be right. So why doesn't the AHA know this? Well, because Cheerios are low in saturated fat and cholesterol... What do you think of saturated fat and cholesterol?

Some may argue that a strict carnivore diet is more vegan than a vegan diet. After all, if I were to only eat grass fed cows, I might be responsible for about 2 deaths (cows) per year. Whereas if I were to eat only plants, the process of farming plants can lead to significantly more deaths.

Did you know McDonald's salt also contains sugar (dextrose) and aluminum (sodium silicoaluminate)? Just something to keep in mind even if you order only beef patties. It might be best to ask for them without salt...
