Catastrophe & Cure have been at the top of their game for over a decade now!
‘I try to hold on tight / But time will always win the fight’. In their latest single Like a River, Catastrophe & Cure describe time as a river that inexorably carves its path, with which no compromise can be made, but which helps us to gain perspective.
While the last single In the Wind was a driving song, Like a River offers a ballad-like verse and a dry-as-dust grunge chorus. Both songs are rooted in the sound of 90s alternative rock, while always sounding modern and never derivative.
