Delta Research and Educational Foundationâs (DREF) national health initiative coined âResearch Matters: Creating Possibilities to Achieve Health and Wellness for All of Usâ engages, educates and ultimately enrolls individuals of African American decent in the National Institutes of Health (NIH) All of Us national registry.
Through collaborative efforts with the All of Us Research Program, DREF encourages the participation of African Americans in clinical trials and biomedical research, thus creating a database primarily comprised of diverse and traditionally underrepresented populations. DREFâs All of Us Program HBCU and nationwide city initiatives serve as key components for achieving increased health and wellness for our community.
