Happy Holidays, everyone! A little update post here.
First of all, there absolutely WILL be more content coming next year :)
I took a break from making videos for the last 2 months. Recently I've been investing more time into my mental and physical health. I left the job, found a new one, started to go out more. These were necessary and positive changes in my life to close the year of 2021.
Now that all bases are covered, I'm ready to make stuff again!
Some closest plans for the next year:
- Doom engine analysis video (the idea and some research are ready)
- More 3rd person playthroughs (of course)
- Updates to Cameraman mod
- ...more things to come later on 2022!
It's my first New Year resolution as a YouTube creator. A year ago I had no idea and no plans to even become one.
I'd like to thank all the viewers, you're the best! Special thanks to decino, Peter Lawrence, Dashie and many others for tremendous moral support! It means a lot ❤️

If anyone missed it - the latest educational video is finally up after 2 months!
One more thing - I think it's worth addressing what I said back in May - I estimated a release schedule of 1-2 videos a month. And then made a post announcing a video coming out in June.
Well, both estimations fell short, but lesson learned - next time I won't be too eager to announce the release timeframe at the earliest stage of production. As it turns out, 3-4 weeks are not always enough to make this stuff :)
Therefore I'm officially ditching the idea of 1-2 videos a month. This schedule is misleading.
Anyway, I hope you are doing well, and stay tuned for more videos in the future!

The next video won't come out this month, as planned before.
This is 100% my fault and I'm deeply sorry. I underestimated how much time and energy my day job would take away. Well, mostly energy, as time is more or less predictable. As a result, I didn't put in as many hours into the video production, as I hoped.
There is progress since the last update - the assets and coding are ~75% completed. The script was refined too. It's enough to finally start the video capturing, the editing and the voiceover and fill in the rest ~25% as I go.
By the time the video will be published, I'll know my capacity better and re-think my production schedule. Previously I stated it will be 1-2 videos a month - this might have been too optimistic.
Apologies for the delay!

The next video will be an analysis/educational on Doom engine. I've been working on research and writing the script. Those are ready, moving to the production now :)
I'm aiming to finish it this month. Stay tuned!
