How would my viewers feel about me doing reactions to speedruns of other Zelda games? I'd have rules for myself, though:
1) Never show all the best parts of the original run.
2) Only react to runs whose views are plateauing or already plateaued.
3) Credit the original runner and encourage the viewer to support them at the beginning of the video

I've officially crossed 700 subscribers. It's not exactly the 1k before January goal, but I'm grateful for what I have been able to do with this channel this year. Not making 1k is mostly on me for letting my focus get taken elsewhere. I'm dealing with adapting to new hardware, software, and workflows, and that affected my motivation and momentum. I promise the videos on my to-do list are still coming, but only when I can get them up to the level of quality my viewers deserve.

I'm considering ditching twitch to come stream on YouTube. I don't want to have to do double effort. Plus, I'll still be doing offline recordings to use for highlight videos. I might have to focus on stream highlight videos for a bit. I'm migrating my family's internet and productivity infrastructure.

Got some plans for the next few videos, and I'd like to get an idea of which I should do first.

Not feeling good about my YouTube journey right now. Even with improving my style, editing, and thumbnails, I'm not growing in a way where I can even see myself helping support my family with this like I want to. Randomizer content is feeling like a big boy club I'm not allowed in. And since I'm not A) the best or B) discovering anything new, I'm feeling stuck in the fraud's corner where I'm just doing where someone else already did what I did. And for some reason, a 360p video from years ago with no dialogue and terrible instructions in the description is still more valid than my updated version.
I started doing tutorials and info videos because I was disgusted by 360p or 480p videos with little or no helpful dialogue or text or input viewer were your only options to see how to do most tricks in OoT Randomizer. But it seems like that's not what my audience wanted. And my highlight videos may have gone from getting 5 views a year to 5 views a month, but according to the watch time, I'm just not what people want to see.

I've been practicing boat key skip and boss key skip in Ocarina of Time. (Thank God for easy frame advance in Ship.) And sometimes the bombchu blows up prematurely. Aggrovating.
And sometimes you get it!
The last time I learned boat key skip and boss key skips, I had a hard time getting it down. And when I waited until I needed it, I had to re-learn it. I don't want that to happen again. So, yes, I'm going to practice this. A Lot.
