With the newest sports video out, I have two or three more sports videos planned for the rest of the month. Given the current discourse about the graduation stole for Filipino Americans, that's what I intend to discuss in a serious type video in mid July when I get my new camera setup.
For now, enjoy this funny clip of Calvin Abueva manhandling a Team New Zealand player.

You all may have noticed that I've been posting mostly shorts and some sports related content recently. Frankly, it's the most tame way that I can talk about Filipino things and it's honestly really rewarding to still tell Filipino stories.
Filipino atheltes are looked down upon and it's importatnt to tell their stories. It's also a key way to get young Filipinos in other countries to be inspired to learn more and explore their home country through a lens they enjoy and is digestable.
I will be releasing a FIlipino athlete feature late this week and intend to also cover history and current events soon. I'm working on creating new visuals and upping production quality to try to reach new people with those more serious topics. Please wait for those and continue toe support me. I'm very thankful for everyone and am hoping yoo all can help me reach 200 subs soon.

Thanks for visiting my channel! My name is Karl, and I'm a visually impaired Filipino writer, martial artist, student, and journalist to be. You might know me as an editor of LABAN Magazine, a writer featured in places like Rappler and Blossom Japan, or my martial arts journal on instagram!
Bulag is the Filipino word for blindness. Even though I'm visually impaired, I am here to fight against what people normally think blind people are like by fighting, like a bandit, for a reimagined anti-imperialist, decolonial, and justice-oriented future using my voice. If you're interested in the Philippines, the Filipino diaspora, the Asia Pacific, disability, and accessibility this is the place for you. Each story I share is a testament to how powerful using your voice is. Listen in, read up, and let's discuss!
