Kalvakuntla Taraka Rama Rao (KTR) is the working president of Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), a party founded by Sri Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao in 2001. KTR was actively involved in the Telangana statehood movement and has represented the Sircilla Assembly Constituency since 2009.
Between 2014 and 2023, KTR held various portfolios in successive governments, including Panchayat Raj & Rural Development, Municipal Administration, Industries, and Information Technology.
