Lī V Mahob Theatre Company is a nonprofit cultural arts theatre based in Raleigh, NC.
Our mission is to create, develop, nurture, and celebrate the tradition of Black storytelling while illuminating works by artists of color and women.
Led by Artistic Director/Founder/Playwright Moses T. Alexander Greene, the vision of Lī V Mahob is to provide art and culture experiences in the performing arts, literature, and film that provide spaces for diverse audiences to experience joy, laughter, escape, and the possibilities of transformation.
(Formerly Li V Mahob Productions, from 2006 to 2015 the company specialized in behind-the-scenes coverage, feature interviews, short films and documentaries. The company's anchor show, "In the GreeneRoom: LIVE," debuted in 2006 with an interview with jazz icon George Duke.)
