SBI Pension Funds is India's largest pension fund registered with PFRDA; with an AUM of over ₹4,88,000 cr. under NPS and APY (as of November 2024). The company commands a market share of about 36% of Assets Under Management (AUM) for Government, Corporate and Retail subscribers registered with PFRDA.
SBI Pension Funds Private Limited was incorporated in December 2007 and started its pension fund management operations in April 2008 with the CG scheme. The company is sponsored by the State Bank of India and SBI Funds Management Private Limited. The Company's mission is, "To consistently create value for all the stakeholders by committing ourselves to performance of the highest order."
SBI Pension Funds also got registered as a Point of Presence with PFRDA in February 2019 and thus became an authorized distributor of the NPS scheme for corporate and retail subscribers.
