Founded on February 1, 1972, the Kundalini Research Institute (KRI) is a non-profit organization that holds the Kundalini Yoga teachings and provides accessible and relevant resources to teachers and students of Kundalini Yoga.
Our mission is to make the benefits and practice of Kundalini Yoga accessible to all people from all backgrounds and support you to enrich your practice, connect with a worldwide community, and inspire your yoga students and communities. Our vision is to be a progressive, global organization that fosters spiritual, aware, and self-empowered humanity.
Kundalini Yoga is called the Yoga of Awareness, and was brought to the West by Yogi Bhajan in 1968. It integrates postures, pranayamas (breathing exercises), mantras (sound), and meditation to help you learn the art of relaxation, self-healing, and elevation.
