I love working with fibers and on this channel, I'll be sharing the ideas and techniques that I like to use. In normal times, I'd be sharing in person, but now we are sharing more virtually and that does have its plusses. My plan is to upload videos of classes or techniques in a step by step format so that you can work along with me if you'd like. The joy of that is that you can do it whenever the time is ripe.
I have fun making lots of things using many of the fiber arts. I make quilts,. both as art and for the bed, I hook rugs, I knit and crochet and I make loads of handbags. I also enjoy bookmaking and painting but am a novice in those media. It's important to note that I use the word fun. It's not that I won't do things that are time-consuming, but that I've learned that I need to be entertained every step of the way. I try to make space for serendipity to occur!
I'm assuming my technical video skills will improve over time and I hope you will enjoy what I share.
