Sometime within the last few days the channel officially logged 1 million views. I sort of hit that mark already in the past but had to take down a bunch of videos last year for copyright violations, and that tanked my earlier numbers. But this is the first "official" notification by Youtube of this number. This is a bittersweet thing as I am seriously considering ceasing the channel, for various reasons. I honestly don't feel like entertaining people anymore, and some of you might guess why. I might elaborate later, but maybe not.

It never fails. When I actually post content, I lose subscribers. When I do nothing, I gain subscribers. I think I'll just go off and drink pina coladas by myself and do nothing on here and I'll grow exponentially, lol.

Just removed another guy for putting copyright/source information in the comments when that very information was already in the description. Keep doing it, and keep getting banned.

I'm having to delete some comments against my will because of Youtube's lack of a "marked as read" feature, which a site like this ought to have. You see, sometimes a comment you make may not be one that is necessary to respond to, but if I DON'T respond to it, Youtube will keep it front and center on my internal dashboard forever. So everytime I access my channel I have to see the same comment over and over. Sometimes, honestly, I don't even know what some of you are even talking about, and usually I don't respond to those comments. Or if you're making a statement that is not necessary to respond to, I don't respond to those. I tried some other methods to get the comments off my dashboard but they didn't work. So as a last resort I just deleted them. If your comment is missing, it's NOT because I hate you or that you said something bad, it's that Youtube just found another way to suck.

My sister recently gave me a VHS tape from her collection from 1993 with news, old commercials and so on from WHAS Louisville. I hadn't looked at it until tonight and by god it's a treasure trove of holiday local material. Will start capturing tonight and hopefully recapture it with better means at a later date.

I was just scrolling though the my old "private"video uploads from from a year ago and was shocked that there are so many unpublished videos sitting in limbo. Many of these were because I was unhappy with the sonic and visual quality of the captures, and some were just videos of me acting like a cringe-inducing goofball ham and I don't quite have the courage to make them public, lol.

Just minutes ago I watched another lunatic Youtube storm chaser livestreaming himself wrecking into another vehicle because he was too busy chatting on his stream. Six years ago I watched three clowns kill themselves and an innocent driver doing the same thing. A couple of weeks ago I watched a dumb ass storm chaser with the initials "BC" blatantly run a flashing railroad signal and lowered barrier because he was too impatient to wait. YT needs to start cracking down on this behavior and lawmakers need to step in instead of trafficking in fabricated conspiracies.

I just spent two hours making another VHS Demo Play Video and a total scammer from Russia tried to copyright claim the music even though the logo music was from 1983 and there's no way this "musician" was even alive then and he was just sampling the same track source as me. I only got a claim, which meant I could run the video, but the Russian clown could make money off it, and that ain't happenin'. I won't let one dime be made off my channel by some Putin scumbag, so that video will never see the light of day now. Eff off, Russia.
