Greetings from Cornwall!
Whilst I enjoy collecting antique and vintage items of various kinds, and creating graphic artworks which I sell on print-on-demand outlets as "Timespun Threads", this channel centres on my other abiding passion: hymns and church music.
For several years, I have (for want of someone better qualified) been playing the organ regularly for services at St Mewan Church, and occasionally elsewhere in the St Austell area. Accordingly, my videos showcase a number of local church organs, as well as my very own antique Dominion reed organ, which I successfully renovated during lockdown in 2020.
Having been inspired by other organists here on YouTube, I started uploading videos of my own back in 2015. In adding to their number - which I do as and when time allows - I aim to present a varied repertoire, focusing especially on (a) lesser-known hymns from bygone times, and (b) contemporary worship songs, to show that these can work on the organ too.
To God be the glory!
