FORMERLY KNOWN as EVENT HØRIZØN, doublemydose, creates alternative electronic music. Based in the U.S., doublemydose is not concerned with genre and has been known to combine elements of dubstep, emo, EDM, orchestral and hip-hop. Struggling with depression growing up, music production and songwriting became an emotional outlet in the early 2000s. Shane's first instrument was the guitar, soon followed by software and midi controllers. Today, doublemydose independently writes, performs, produces and distributes music in Washington state (Greater Seattle Area). Shane has collaborated with artists such as sewerperson, guccihighwaters, 93FEETOFSMOKE, fats'e and scum. doublemydose actively shares new material on SoundCloud, Instagram and Twitter (@evthorizon).
