Spent today cleaning up my channel. I unlisted everything that I considered to be too far into the past. I want to uphold a new image with all the content I'll be posting in the future, so I'm sorry if there are some old videos of mine that you were looking for, and couldn't find. If you wanna DM me on Discord or Steam, I'd be happy to pass you some links.

Reminder that this video exists. Also channel update below if you wanna see.

I've now found a way to streamline the video-making process, so highlights are easier to make now than they ever have been before. I'm still whittling away at the videos that I have, because I'm still battling hard drive space and I gotta clear things up or it's only gonna get worse. And with school starting up for me on August 11, I'm running out of time.

My plan is to edit everything down that takes up a lot of space, then upload a bunch of videos in chronological order over time. If I really didn't care about views or people watching this channel, I'd just upload them all at once, but I think this is my chance to entertain some people who don't know about this channel, so I wanna try.

I guess that's it for now. Thank you grape raccoon.

PLEASE UNSUBSCRIBE IF YOU DON'T WATCH MY VIDEOS

Here's a post explaining my philosophy on YouTube, and why my sub count is so high while my average view count is so low.

Back in March of 2019, the YT animator Sr Pelo (whose content I very much enjoy) made another community event where his fans make their own content with what he gives them; in this case, the Pelones, who are a musical trio with afros, as seen in the image. You'll have to watch the video attached to know exactly what I mean by this.

In 2019, I was part of the Sr Pelo Discord server, where a guy named KazootyScott was making Pelones versions of certain video game music. I asked him how he was making these audio files, so he taught me, and soon enough, I was making my own. It was a very easy process, so I made a lot of them and put them all on the Discord server, at first. Sr Pelo himself noticed my Addams Family theme cover, and told me that he loved that one in particular, to the point where he wanted to draw some art for it and have me upload the MP3 along with the art to my YouTube channel. Once he was done and I uploaded the video, he showed it off on Twitter, and I continued uploading similar Pelones covers to the channel from April 7 to May 12.

Along the way, young fans of Sr Pelo started subscribing to me for Pelones covers, I assume. That, or they saw one of my videos and subscribed to me because they subscribe to EVERYONE, which I think is more likely. Either way, the ~1000 subs that I have may as well be around a hundredth of that, because nobody enjoys my new videos nowadays. And that's just fine.

It kind of irks me when people I'm close to ask about my channel, see that I have so many subs that don't watch my content, and assume that I'm some quality content creator or that I'm famous or whatever. I think people misunderstand what I do YouTube for: I upload whatever I want, whenever I want, and if people want to see what I make, they're very welcome to.

I feel like people nowadays see YouTube solely as some outlet for making money or rising to fame, when really it just grew into that over time due to its moneymaking potential for the creators. After releasing it as a dating website, the creators realized they could label it as something else, and decided to encourage creativity instead, with the site allowing you to upload your passions easily while sharing them with whoever you wanted, and letting everyone see them. I really enjoy that sentiment, so I'm keeping it alive.

Anyway, other than the full caps plead at the beginning of this post that most probably won't see, there's nothing I can do to reflect my true subscriber count. I'd make a new channel, but that'd be a really big hassle to transfer all my subscriptions, videos, and most of all, playlists, plus retrain the algorithm to show me videos I want to see, and it'd be too much. Blocking channels doesn't work anymore, either, and even if it did, I'm not sure I want to soft block that many people.

So again, if you don't watch my videos, please unsubscribe. Thanks for reading.

Don't open this post if you don't love my channel. Just look at the funny dog image.

So, now that it's Summer and I've got over 80 days of free time, I think it's time to start working on videos for things.

I'm gonna start putting these posts here as a little timeline for all my projects, with proper grammar to make things look nice. This is mainly for me so I can look back and see what I was doing at a certain time, but it's also to help coherently explain everything to those that care. For my personal projects (ones that go unlisted and the public doesn't get to see), I'll list them but keep them vague if they're too personal.

I don't do deadlines at all since I never need them, but this time is an exception. I'm going through a hard drive that my grandma has been putting photos and videos on for many years, and I'm taking the time to go through all the clutter folder by folder (it's a very messy drive, with copious folders that seemingly don't do anything and many unnecessary media copies) in order to organize the media that I want to keep for myself and make into a video, which I'll be archiving on Google Drive, OneDrive, my own PC, a flash drive (if the video's small enough), and of course, YouTube, just to ensure that these memories stick around in all circumstances. I'll also be organizing media by family/family member, copying as necessary and leaving neat little folders for everyone to enjoy once I finish. And finally, I'll be keeping the main media folder as a chronological viewing experience for all to enjoy.

Back to the comment I made about deadlines: we're all meeting up at my grandma's house for the 4th of July, so I'll need to have everything in order before then so that I can share the files with everyone that wants them. Then I can focus on my other projects once I'm done.

Speaking of the other projects, these will eventually come out:

-OMORI 100% Completion Achievement Guide
-r/place Remembrance Video (r/OMORI POV)
-All parts of the Bapcraft series
-All episodes of the joe chronicles
-Untitled highlights of GMod with my friend group from a while ago, TF2 with my girlfriend, and other assorted clips perhaps

There are also two projects and an ongoing process that may or may not see the light of day:

-DBD Funnies series, which I originally intended to make a "Mega Mix" of, but I think splitting up long videos into parts is better for remembering what is where, and I probably will finish it after everything else since I sank so much time into it
-An in-depth guide to the nuances of the Fists of Steel from TF2, which I was in the process of writing a script for (yes, my first scripted video), but then Delfy came out with a "exploit video" for the only truly important part of the Fists, and that bummed me out, but just for the sake of expanding my skills, I might just do it
-Clip compilations for every single clip in my 100+ GB collection, which contains clips from a wide variety of games but there are so many it'd be hard to get through them all

And that's all. I'm gonna try to get to everything possible, but no promises. Also, I'm gonna try adding as much quality as I can to any video I make, along with any edits I think of. Some stuff will be out of my control, but I'll do my best to take as much pride in my projects as I can. I might be documenting my thought processes along the way, like any updates or change of plans, but I'll at least be announcing when I finish a project each time. See ya. Look at the funny dog image.
