Thank you all so much for staying with me in 2024. The year didn’t go quite as well as I wanted it to, but I do have a bit of a newfound motivation to make 2025 better. Growth has been slow but looking back at 2023 and 2022 when I started streaming more consistently, things are a lot better now than when I started. However, that does mean I’ve neglected youtube over the past year. In 2025, I want to make it my most successful ever, so that means youtube will have to be a priority. I will still be streaming, but it will be less than in 2024. Looking at my streams in 2024, the only extended break I took was after I had surgery. I really love streaming, but I need to tone it down a little bit so I can focus on other things. I will most likely stream at least a minimum of 12 days a month since that’s the minimum required to gain partner status. I know it doesn’t matter too much but it’s something to reach for along with plus status. However, getting that checkmark on youtube would be much more significant (to me at least), so I’m reaching for that goal to finally get to 100,000 subs and get that plaque. So that means I will need to put out more videos. Even if I don’t reach that goal this year, if I at least get one of my ranking videos out each month, I would consider that an accomplishment. So that’s the plan for now.
TL;DR: more youtube videos, less streaming for 2025, but I’ll still be here.

Update on me: I had surgery on Tuesday. It was a laparoscopy to fix some issues I've been having in my abdomen.
Been taking it easy this week but I'm going to be streaming again on Twitch next week for The Game Awards and my birthday coming up on the 15th. Also been obsessing over Pokemon cards since TCG Pocket came out, so I've been into it again. I also just realized I never actually mentioned here that I debuted my Live2D vtuber model! So when I stream, you can see my character move now.
I did want to try to get some video stuff done before December was over but the surgery recovery kind of put a damper on that, so maybe I can get some stuff done in January when I'm back to 100%.

Saw The Wild Robot today! It was fantastic. Partly reminded me about why I love animation and film so much. To be honest, I've been falling out of love with it for a while and had been moving a lot of my attention towards games instead, which is partially why I haven't done much on this channel lately. Every so often, there is a film that comes out that reminds me why I do love animated film, and this is one of those.
One day I will return to making videos about them, hopefully before the year ends. There is a lot of things I want to do but it can be overwhelming. I'm gonna be seeing a doctor soon about problems I've been having regarding sleep and other stuff, and hopefully I can be more productive for this channel sooner rather than later. In the meantime, I have been streaming a lot on twitch, so you can find me there as PaleoSteno as well. The ones who have been supportive there are very kind and I thank you for all the viewership you give me.
