OK GUYS
If you guys have been in this fandom for a while, you may remember the videos where I surveyed the fandom for their favorite song of a particular artist (I'll try and link them in the comments of this post)
It's been over a year since the last time I did that so I've decided to do it a third time this summer!

~An artist that I think most of the current/newer fandom is familiar with is Olivia Rodrigo, so that is who these songs will be by!

Lemme say something..

Old fandom >>> new fandom
And this is something that new fandom completely caused
New fandom only cares about views and subs, and everything is so painfully made from capcut premade effects. Capcut can be great, but the majority of the things that new fandom makes are just awful
“I worked so hard” like no u didnt
Capcut templates don’t make you a real editor
Try ae and you’ll know what its actually like
And the constant tagging of other channels.
People aren’t gonna want to watch your videos any more if you tag them
Also
Following trends as your only type of video is lame
Be creative for once
New fandom hosts tons of comps when nobody really knows how to edit in the first place. Look for the right things in a swap before u host anything

Old fandom was actually a community where people enjoyed the show and what they did

Like nobody cares if you’re “flopping”, you should be more grateful. Getting 1k+ views for a lazy edit is good

If someone only gives requests to people they’re friends with, don’t try and befriend them for that.
Its just manipulative and they would be friends with you already if they wanted. Yes this is targeted đŸ€©

Learn how credits work PLEASE.

Lastly, nobody cares if your video is stolen. For the most part, your edits aren’t actually good enough to be stolen. Posting “awareness” videos does nothing
All they want is attention and they go to you guys bc you’re all so susceptible. Just ignore it, its not that hard. This is coming from a fandom that was stolen from and actually worked on their edits

Also most of you (in the new fandom) will think you’re an exception to all of this.
You’re probably not.


Oh and its really not that hard to make your own intros and stuff-
