I was thinking a little about the dialogue Arthur has with Sister Calderon in the mission "The Fine Art of Conversation" when Arthur in one of his dialogues mentions that he is afraid, but fear of what exactly?
Personally, I think Arthur's fear of death came from his karma, from the weight of all the bad deeds he committed in life. Arthur's fear was not of the act of dying, but of his death being insignificant, an empty and pointless end. Arthur feared that his sacrifice would not be enough to redeem his life of violence and mistakes, that his departure would not ensure a better future for those who still had the chance to live, simply beautiful in its conclusion.
Do you agree?
