Hey you. I’m sorry it’s been such an incredibly long time since I’ve posted a video. Up until the end of August I was still filming regularly, but could not get thru editing to save my life, for various reasons. I’ve even made videos explaining those reasons, but they just sound whiney to me.
I intended months ago to make it very clear where I stand on current issues in our country and deeply regret being unable to finish those videos especially. These days silence is also a stance, a cowardly one, and one that I truly didn’t intend to take.
So let me be clear: Black lives matter. Women’s rights matter. LGBTQIA rights matter. The environment and future of our planet matters, as well as having a leader that isn’t racist, homophobic, sexist, and who doesn’t make an ass out of himself and America to the entire world.
If you don’t agree, if reading this makes you mad, if you support Trump, I invite you to unsubscribe. We don’t really need to be in each other’s lives. Good riddance, can’t relate and don’t want to. Not cool, man.
To everyone else, I 🖤 you. Again, I’m sorry about not uploading. I think about y’all all the time. I haven’t quit YouTube, I’ll promise I’ll post again as soon as I’m able.

Currently editing the video I filmed Wednesday and (as usual) I’m struggling with the idea of posting it. It’s very angry and there are tears.... I wish I was able to get my thoughts and feelings out in a calm, coherent way, but that’s just not me. Usually this is the point where I would abandon the video altogether, but I’m going to try my best not to do that and get it up by this evening. Love you guys. #BlackLivesMatter

Botham Jean DOD 9-6-18
Botham Jean was a 26 year old accountant and Harding University Alumnus when he was murdered in his own apartment by his downstairs neighbor, Amber Guyger.
Botham had a full life with family and friends who loved him dearly, and was very involved with his church and community.
Guyger was an off-duty police officer getting home from work. She parked on the wrong floor. She missed numerous glaringly obvious signs that she was on the wrong floor, including Botham’s bright red doormat. His door lock was defective, allowing Guyger to push it open when she tried to use her key. Instead of taking a single second to observe her surroundings, she instantly assumed there was an intruder in her apartment. At this point protocol was for her to call for backup. Instead she drew her gun and burst into Botham’s apartment, scaring him as he was watching tv and getting ready to eat a bowl of ice cream. Botham only had a chance to yell, “Hey, hey, hey!” before Guyger shot him twice in the chest. The trajectory of the bullets showed that Botham was either just getting up from the couch or crouching to hide. As he was dying, Guyger did not administer any lifesaving aid other than rubbing his chest while she deleted texts to her lover.
Amber Guyger was convicted of murder but was only sentenced to 10 years in prison with a possibility of parole after 5.

Atatiana Jefferson DOD 10-12-2019
Atatiana was a 28 year old pre-med graduate student when she was murdered in her own home while babysitting and playing video games with her nephew.
At 3am, police responded to a welfare check call made by a neighbor stating the front door was ajar an the lights were on. Without announcing themselves, the officers snuck around the side of the house into the backyard. After hearing noises at the back window, Atatiana drew her perfectly legal gun, which she had a concealed carry license for, from her purse and pointed it at the window. Officer Aaron Dean shot Atatiana through the window, killing her almost instantly in front of her nephew.
Dean was indicted for murder; his trial date is yet to be set.

Breonna Taylor DOD 3-13-2020
Breonna was a 26 year old ER technician who had big dreams for her future. She planned on furthering her medical career, buying a house and starting a family.
Breonna was murdered by police when they charged into her home unannounced in the middle of the night, looking for someone who didn’t live there and had already been apprehended miles away.
Her boyfriend Kenneth Walker, who was licensed to carry a firearm and thought they were being broken into, asked, “Who is it?!” multiple times. After receiving no answer the front door burst inward. Fearing for their lives, Kenneth fired a single shot into the doorway, hitting a plainclothes officer in the leg. Police opened fire and shot over 20 rounds into the apartment, hitting Breonna with 8 of them and killing her in her own hallway outside her bedroom.
Kenneth was initially charged with attempted murder of a police officer and incarcerated before charges were eventually dismissed. As of now the investigation is ongoing.

Y’all I can’t even think about filming right now, I’m a mess. This is utter devastation. Australia is burning. About 500 million precious creatures are dead. Please, please consider helping. There are many donation options to choose from. Even $1 helps. If you search ‘donate to Australia’ on Twitter you will find threads with lots of links to help firefighters on the front lines, injured wildlife, etc. I realize it’s overwhelming but please, find on organization or gofundme that resonates with you.
I know I’m just an itty bitty creator but guys, there’s almost 4,000 of us! Let’s help. We cannot just do nothing.

I don’t know if I’ll even get this one up before Xmas, but oh well! This is my version of ‘holiday spirit’ and I’m having a blast.
Many of us really dislike this time of year, but I found that Xmas horror is really cheering me up.
