Just finished reading what I had left of Case File: Compendium Volume 1. Yesterday I finished reading the 4th volume of The Husky and His White Cat Shizun. I got the 5th volume today. But I plan to finish all the books that I started and never got to finishing.
Finishing of the first volume of Remnants of Filth Volume 1 tomorrow. Then probably starting the second volume of that. I'm not really going in any sort of order in how I'm reading these.
I still need to start Golden Terrace, Thousand Autumns, The Disabled Tyrant's Beloved Pet Fish. And those are only counting the ones I own. I still plan to go get Stars of Chaos, Peerless, Guardian, Ballad of Sword and Wine. I need to get the remaining volumes of TGCF that I haven't gotten (4-7). Then also MDZS (1-4)
WHY ARE BOOKS SO EXPENSIVE. Canada whyyyyyy

Am I the only one getting slightly annoyed at Epic fans saying that “Penelope would think that killing the suitors is like flirting because she’s Spartan.” Or anything that says that Penelope is Spartan.
Okay there isn’t anything wrong with saying that Penelope is from Sparta. She is a princess of a Spartan King. But at the time of the Odyssey and the Iliad, it would’ve been the Region of Sparta. Not the well known Sparta that everyone is talking about.
So this whole talk of Penelope having short hair because that’s how Spartan women cut it when they get married. This isn’t the Sparta that’s they think it is.
For reference, The Odyssey takes place in 1200 BC. And the well known Sparta that everyone is thinking about is around 650BC which is after.
Don’t get me wrong, I love the thought of Penelope being a bamf, but this misconception has been going around so much that people are thinking that it is fact. When it’s the wrong Sparta that they’re talking about.
Also the whole thing about the axes that Penelope used in the Odyssey for the challenge. It isn’t the axe heads that most people are thinking of or trying to justify is.
This post will explain it better than I can, so I’ll be leaving it here.

Chat, is it normal to still be grieving over the ending of a fan fiction as you're reading its sequel. I feel so sad bro. I can't. Legit speed-reading through the sequel, and every time they mention the character I cry. I want him brought back to life

You got me f-ed up, I just thought of an AU/Prompt where it's a soulmate au, but one of them is only using the other. And their soulmate knows, but even then they always do what do what their soulmate says or orders. Eventually leading to the soulmate's death(The one that is being used), and only then does their soulmate realize how much their soulmate meant to them. Even if it's not romantic. The soulmate realizes how much that person means to them.
I was reading a fan fiction, and thought of this. Teared up at the thought
