Pole Top Rescue burst onto the Darwin music scene in 2012 with their trolley poles. Soon they were performing sold out gigs as the headlining act, and being supported by emerging bands like Regurgitator and Calling All Cars. Jokes bruss. They were the support act for these legendary Australian outfits.

Pole Top Rescue have acquired a loud and vocal fan base, who insist on trying to drown out Stuey when they play some of their most famous hits, ‘Ladida’ and the crowd favourite Territory inspired ‘Budju’. They are of a rock/indie persuasion. But not another shit indie rock band. One "fan" described their music as sounding like ‘Beatles on steroids.'
