✝ Reading of the first letter of the Apostle Saint Paul to the Corinthians 1 Corinthians 15, 1-11 (Holy Bible, New Testament)

Brothers: I remind you of the Gospel that I preached to you and that you accepted and in which you stand firm. This Gospel will save you, if you follow it just as I preached it. Otherwise, they will have believed in vain.

I transmitted to them, above all, what I myself received: that Christ died for our sins, as the Scriptures say; that he was buried and that he rose again on the third day, as it was written; that he appeared to Peter and then to the Twelve; Then he appeared to more than five hundred gathered brothers, most of whom are still alive and others have already died. Later he appeared to James and then to all the apostles.

Finally, it also appeared to me, who is like an abortion. Because I persecuted the Church of God and that is why I am the last of the apostles and unworthy to be called an apostle. However, by the grace of God, I am what I am, and his grace has not been barren in me; On the contrary, I have worked harder than all of them, although it was not I, but the grace of God, who is with me. In any case, whether it is me or them, this is what we preach and this is what you have believed. The Word of the Lord.
