I'd be interested in your thoughts, please. A little backing down by Gov UK? Gov trying to appease due to likely outcome? Still too little too late? Gov afraid of backlash from the public as well as farmers, ie mass mutiny if they don't ease off? Gov pooping pants? Or something else? What about the supermarkets? What are they doing to help farmers whilst still raking it in? Where are the fair prices paid for the produce they profit from? I asked my MP, who is aware of the challenges farmers face and has been in dislogue with them, to see what she could chat to her colleagues about to level the playing field.
