Aya Nakamura is a French-Malian multi-platinum and multi-award winning singer songwriter.

Born Aya Danioko in Bamako, Mali, she comes from a family of Griots, West African storytellers/praise singers. She grew up in Paris suburb and later took the stage name Nakamura.

Her 2017 debut album 'Journal Intime' reached Platinum with her first hit, 'Comportement'

Led by the single 'Djadja', her 2018 album NAKAMURA surpassed +1,5M album sales worldwide, becoming the most streamed French-language album of all time.

In 2020, her 3rd album AYA won the France Music Awards 2022, earning +1 billion streams globally.

In 2023, her 4th album 'DNK' entered directly the French album charts at #1, led by the hit 'Baby' .

Her discography earned Aya over five #1 hits and over 25 Top 10 singles.
