Crooked Still started with Gillian Welch's "Orphan Girl" at the Cantab Lounge on November 20th, 2001. That and a few more recordings from that show Greg found are included on the Shaken By a Low Sound (Deluxe) album coming out Dec 10th to celebrate its 15th anniversary.

Friends, Shaken By A Low Sound turned 15 this year and we decided to celebrate it properly. A deluxe edition with the album entirely remastered by David Sinko, live recordings from the archives, and reimagined song versions is out December 10th. There's a lot of history we pulled into this. The inside art is completely redone with photos from over the years and what you all submitted earlier this year. The live recordings include selections from our very first performance as a band at Cantab Lounge in Cambridge, MA in 2001, our festival appearance at Telluride Bluegrass Festival in 2007 on the Shaken By A Low Sound album release tour, and a few songs from the encore of the third night at our reunion show at The Sinclair in Cambridge, MA in 2019 that had everyone on stage together.

Crooked Still is equal parts ambassador and innovators. The musical prowess of this defiantly non-traditional bluegrass quintet formed in 2001 in Boston, Massachusetts and are known for their high energy, technical skill, unusual instrumentation, and innovative acoustic style.
