Make sure your base is dry before you do any masking. Usually base will set up in about 20 minutes in 75 to 85 degree garage at ambient temperature. When you spray your base coat and give out about 20 to 30 minutes, you always touch the masking tape to see how dry it is. Never touch the panel.
