I think it all depends. It's usually pretty easy to spot the difference between someone who's vernacular is riddled with swearing regularly, and someone who is swearing to impress/sound cool etc. My go to way to recognize is if they often use "fuckinnnnn" as a hedge word instead of 'um' or a pause. It's like a suit.
